Quality Manager

Remote | 4-month FTC | Full-time, 35 hours per week
£34,000 per annum | Occasional UK travel (approx. twice per month)

We’re working with a national charity to recruit an experienced Quality Manager for a four-month fixed-term contract.

This is a predominantly remote role, offering the opportunity to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement across a network of around 50 services throughout the UK.

Working to an established audit schedule, you’ll carry out quality and health & safety audits, analyse findings and work closely with operational teams to ensure actions are completed and improvements are embedded.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering remote and on-site quality and health & safety audits across services
• Working to an established organisational audit schedule
• Analysing quality and performance information to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement
• Producing clear audit reports, recommendations and action plans
• Supporting service managers to address audit findings and embed sustainable improvements
• Supporting services with CQC compliance and preparation for external inspections
• Monitoring quality-related risks and escalating concerns where appropriate
• Providing advice and guidance on quality, compliance and health & safety
• Working collaboratively with operational colleagues and other stakeholders to improve service quality
• Contributing to the ongoing development of quality and audit processes

Although the role is home-based, some travel to services across the UK will be required, expected to be approximately twice per month.

About you

We're looking for someone with strong practical experience of quality assurance within a regulated health or social care environment. You may currently be working as a Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Compliance Manager or Registered Manager and be looking to bring your operational experience into a wider quality and audit role.

To be considered, you must have:

• A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent NVQ Level 3+ Health & Safety qualification
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of CQC requirements and regulated services
• Experience of quality assurance, compliance, auditing or service improvement
• Experience carrying out audits and supporting services to address findings
• Knowledge of relevant health and social care and health & safety legislation
• Confidence analysing data and identifying quality or performance issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• The flexibility to travel within the UK when required

Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated service would be particularly relevant.
