Data Insights Manager

Job description

A health charity based in South West London are looking for a Data Insights Manager. This new role is to drive to make more evidence-based decisions to improving the fundraising and engagement initiatives, support our marketing, campaigning, services planning and overall performance and will help us to deepen engagement and enhance the experience our supporters have with us. This is a fantastic opportunity to make this role your own and be a key player in driving forward a new direction for fundraising and engagement at charity.
Key responsibilities
Develop a robust approach to income generation data insight, working collaboratively with fundraising colleagues and other respective business partners
Hands on analysis and insights report of fundraising and supporter data to facilitate project progression
Identify gaps in current data collection and analysis and develop more effective approaches
Work with the finance team to manage and develop robust annual fundraising planning tools and methodology
Provide best practice recommendations and flagging/escalating concerns that you see
from the data you have gathered


Person specification


Knowledge, experience and understanding of the charity sector and how data supports fundraising and campaigning activities

Experience and understanding of data use and data mining to support business analysis and intelligence

Good working knowledge of successful income generation channels and key performance data drivers of success (direct marketing, digital)

A strong experience of using and interrogating fundraising CRMs
