I am assisting a leading children's international development charity in their search for an experienced Head of Grants. This is a full time, maternity cover contract and will be up to 12 months. However, the charity will consider applicants that are looking for part time positions.

The charity believes in rights for all children, everywhere and that they should be valued, protected and met by all. They exist to make this the reality for children in Ghana, where more than half of all families live in poverty and 1 in 15 children die before their 5th birthday.

As interim Head of Grants and as part of the SMT you will be required to develop and deliver an ambitious fundraising grants fundraising strategy, building on the strong relationships the charity has with trusts, foundations, institutions and corporates while opening new doors.

To be considered for this exciting position you will need to be an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing international funding (EU, US Grants etc ). You will be a strategic leader/senior manager, with experience of developing an ambitious fundraising strategy.

Salary- 45,000- 50,000.
