Marketing and Campaigns Manager

Job description

Harris Hill is working on behalf of Action Bladder Cancer, supporting their search for a Marketing and Campaigns Manger.

This role requires 1.5 days per week for 12 months, and would suit a freelancer or someone looking for a part time contract. We are happy to discuss the various types of employment, including OUTSIDE IR35 regulation.

Bladder cancer is one of the 10 most common cancers but isn't as well known, so has a high mortality rate as it's symptoms are often overlooked until its progressed too far. Action Bladder Cancer UK looks to raise its profile to influence parliament, medical professionals and the public into taking more action.

As the Marketing and Campaigns Manager, you will work with the CEO and other staff raise the organisations profile, as well as help develop and implement awareness campaigns for bladder cancer, its symptoms, and early diagnosis. You'll achieve this by developing materials, stories, resources and campaigns to support public affairs activity.

 

Your experience:

You will have demonstrable experience and achievements in voluntary sector marketing;

You will have strong and current experience of health charity sector marketing, it is highly desirable that you have demonstrable experience within health charities;

You will be able to communicate persuasively and creatively to a range of audiences;

It would be highly advantageous if you have direct experience of designing and implementing charity campaigns and have an understanding of the issues around a cancer awareness campaign;

You will be flexible and committed with an understanding of working with a small charity to drive profile and help to get our messages across.
