Marketing Executive - Membership Retention

Job description

We have a fantastic role with one of the UK’s greatest literary institutions, ideal for someone who can marry membership experience with marketing knowhow.

The purpose of this role will be to improve member engagement and retention, and grow membership by implementing their retention strategy, including managing their magazine.

In a nutshell, they need someone who can combine an understanding of marketing with the experience and knowhow of looking after and interacting with the membership of an organisation.

The ideal candidate will be adept at copywriting, ideally working on magazines or newsletters, and will be able to understand how their database works and ‘zone in’ on members in order to and retain/develop them.

Essential experience:

  • Membership marketing and communications

  • Data analysis and utilisation, working with a CRM

  • Copywriting for print and digital


There will also be involvement with and attendance at events throughout the year.


Annual Salary £28,348.20 - £33,072.90


Hybrid post - 60% office, 40% home
