Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer
Job description
Harris Hill is thrilled to be partnering with a brilliant national charity in their search for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a high-value portfolio and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the trusts and foundations programme.
As Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer, you will develop and maintain a strong pipeline of funding opportunities to meet targets and write tailored, persuasive, and compelling funding applications. You will build strong relationships with existing and prospective funders, ensuring excellent stewardship and engagement. You will proactively research and identify new trust and foundation prospects, particularly those with potential for five-figure gifts. You will also act as a primary source of contact for Trusts and Foundations, ensuring funders and prospects are well informed and up to date with the impact of their current or future support.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising
- Track record of securing five-figure grants, developing new funding relationships, and ideally multi-year funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different funders and create compelling proposals and reports.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; confident engaging with senior funder stakeholders.

Salary: £35,000
Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid – with 1-2 days in Head Office, London EC2A 2AH
