A great opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated fundraiser with experience of raising funds from trusts and preferably also from Lottery and/or statutory sources. You will have a talent for packaging up and matching a charity s current and future work with funders requirements and priorities. Your writing of bids and applications will be of a high standard, and you will able to build excellent relationships with a range of staff, working in partnership on key proposals. You will have the drive to seek out new funders and opportunities, and the experience of successfully building and developing a pipeline of trusts.

This will be 6 months FTC Full time or part-time.


In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Trust fundraising expertise: you will have experience of managing a varied portfolio of trusts: successfully securing income through high quality written proposals, researching new opportunities for the pipeline, and managing varied reporting requirements.

Self-motivated and solutions focussed :you will have the drive to deliver and will have exceeded objectives in a previous role. You relish a challenge and approach them constructively with solutions; you will have overcome challenges in the past proactively and positively. 

Strong writing skills: your written work will be of a high standard; you will have written successful bids to a variety of funders including a range of trusts.

Supporter focussed: you will be able to demonstrate experience of managing an effective trust stewardship programme.You will have a talent for effectively packaging up a charity s core and new work into propositions that meet funders priorities, with accompanying budgets.

A team player you will effectively work across the organisation, and in the past will have worked in partnership with service delivery staff, finance and senior team members to effectively apply to funders, report to them and manage funder relationships.

Effective database use you will have managed a trust and statutory programme effectively through a fundraising database, and be able to effectively analyse and report on data.
