Trusts and Philanthropy Manager

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic charity that protects and champions parks and green spaces across the UK in their search for a Trusts and Philanthropy Manager.

As Trusts and Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for maximising income from new and existing trusts and foundations to meet agreed income targets. Working with the wider team, you will research, write and present attractive and compelling fundraising applications and proposals, ensuring there is a strong emotive case for support. You will also deliver excellent stewardship of Trust funders and Major Donors, ensuring written reports, proposals and thank you letters are compelling, timely and accurate.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience of raising a minimum £100,000 per year from grants, including major gifts from charitable trusts and other funders

  • Experience in securing multi-year gifts from Trusts & Foundations

  • Experience of researching prospective trusts & foundations and knowledge of both online and offline resources/techniques

  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information and data in a compelling manner

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (FTE)
Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week)
Location: London with flexible hybrid working
