Hannah has worked in and with the charity sector for over six years, including four years of solid recruitment experience at Harris Hill where she leads our Fundraising division.
Hannah works closely with clients to fully understand the role she is recruiting into and subsequently provides a robust shortlist of closely matched candidates.
Having been a fundraiser herself before joining Harris Hill, Hannah has a real understanding of fundraising vacancies and a strong network of fundraisers she continues to nurture and grow.
Warm, engaging and highly professional, Hannah's recent placements include the Head of Development at the University of Oxford, Head of Fundraising at City Harvest, Director of Fundraising and Communications at the Maudsley Charity and Head of Development at the National Portrait Gallery.
“Excellent recruitment services from Harris Hill, Hannah Laking was incredibly supportive providing excellent communication throughout the recruitment process. The specific requirements for me in my job search were directly targeted with the roles being presented to me showing a great fit. Prior to interview I was given the right level of support and insight having sold in my background well prior to meetings allowing me to go in with confidence. I would highly recommend and greatly thank Hannah and Harris Hill for their support.”

"Hannah was great to work with during our recent recruitment search. She took time to really understand the charity and the type of person and experience we were looking for. This was clear to see from the candidates she shared with us and are delighted to have secured a great individual to join our team."
