Senior Marketing Officer

Job description

A national charity in London, seek a Senior Marketing Officer for 2-3 months, starting ASAP.

The role of the Senior Marketing Officer is to work with the Communications team and the Mass Participation Team to coordinate and deliver the planning, execution and evaluation of events fundraising marketing campaigns across all channels.

Work with colleagues in Mass Participation Team to strategically manage the planning and coordination for events marketing including offline and digital activity at a national and regional level, ensuring that all campaigns and activities are integrated, informed, planned and evaluated, and that participation targets are reached.

This post-holder will have a holistic view of all Mass Participation Team's marketing to ensure consistency, and will have a good understanding of how this fits with the organisation's strategy.

Experience:
Highly developed project management skills, with an understanding of dependencies and how to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent understanding of and empathy with the motivations of supporters, and experience of working with clearly defined audience segments.
Excellent understanding of recruitment and retention marketing techniques across a range of media including digital, in order to achieve ambitious participation targets.
Strong creative judgement and ability to articulate and deliver feedback.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to deliver ideas and activity updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationships.
Proven ability to work with and through other teams and departments to maximise results for an organisation.
Well-developed numeracy skills for entering, recording, interpreting, analysing and presenting financial data in clear and accurate format.
Proven ability of demonstrating initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines often with conflicting priorities.
Ability to plan and manage own work, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives.
