Job description

A collage based in London are looking for an administrator. The successful candidate would need to provide administrative support to the services. You would need to provide administrative support to the various Committees and meetings that are part of these areas of work. Lastly, you would need to provide administrative office support to the Members and Managers with regard to the maintenance and general day to day running of the office. Please note this role is only till June 2020.

Key responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Mentoring service and liaise with UK Divisions as required

Ensure that follow up once reviews have been completed occurs and record this information

Maintain a database of reviews

Ensure that international contacts on the College database are kept up to date.

Provide administrative support to the Diaspora Groups Committee, including the distribution of papers, taking minutes at meetings, undertaking appropriate follow up work and maintaining database of members.

Assist in the preparation and delivery of meetings as necessary

Person specification

Proven administrative experience

Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner

Experience of dealing with confidential information

Proven flexibility and ability to adapt to any situation and think clearly and quickly

Proven ability to manage a large and varied workload

Ability to maintain accuracy while working to deadlines

Proven experience of working in a support role with an ability to take initiative when appropriate and organise own workload

Be a self-motivated, self- reliant personality who is prepared to work independently and, occasionally, off site

Excellent organisational skills

Proven written skills

Excellent MS Office and keyboard skills

Experience of organising meetings
