Appeals & Retention Manager

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an Appeals & Retention Manager to join a fantastic charity, based in Essex.

Reporting to the Head of Engagement & Supporter Development, the role is responsible for maximising supporter retention and achieving income budgets through the development of individual giving appeals and retention strategies and products that maximise donor income/support.

You will have responsibility for developing cash and regular giving appeals, with attention to appeal performance and the improvement and betterment of appeal concepts and asks through the monitoring and testing of appeals and supporter response. You will also lead on the development of supporter data and preferences and permissions, and data profiling optimisation.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and mentor are crucial as you will line- manage the Fundraising Coordinator, overseeing the scheduling and coordination work of this role in relation to appeals, events and fundraising activities.
