Bookkeeper

Job description

I am happy to be working with an innovative global change organisation in search of an experienced Bookkeeper. As Bookkeeper you will be responsible for helping to ensure the efficient and effective management of the finance office, with responsibility for ensuring efficient and accounting finance processes are in place.
The ideal candidate will be CIMA qualified or equivalent experience in the Not-for-Profit sector, have excellent attention to detail, be organized, professional with the ability to meeting challenging deadlines. You will need to work well individually, as well as being an approachable and pro-active team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture excellent working relationships with stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
Management of day to day finance office operations
To help prepare the audit schedules and information for our audit, which will include the preparation of an Excel cashbook for the year 2021
To assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and management packs, including variance analysis and commentaries for our Trustee Board Meetings
To assist the accountant with producing our annual statutory accounts
Day to day oversight of the staff in the finance office.
