Business Analyst

Job description

A health charity are looking for a Business Analyst. This role sits in the Digital, Technology and Data Directorate but is an important cross-cutting enabling role. The successful candidate will work to ensure outcomes are aligned with our vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture. Acting as a critical friend to a range of specialist business realms you will constructively challenge to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose. You will facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs. Please note this role is FTC for 12 months. The candidate can be based in London or Chesterfield.
Key responsibilities
Support, advise, develop and innovate improvements to business processes and business architecture.
Enable successful transition from current to future business models whilst delivering to the business architecture.
Effectively work with stakeholders and governance / reporting arrangements.
Ensure that any data used is fit for purpose.
Person specification
Strong skills in analysis, visualisation, articulation and solving complex business problems and concepts.
Knowledge and ability to identify and pinpoint business opportunities to allow the organisation to perform more effectively.
Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with and between stakeholders.
Knowledge of agile methodology and how to apply the agile mindset to all aspects of their work.
Understands users and can identify who they are and what their needs are based on evidence.
