Campaign Manager - Wildlife, Not Entertainers

Job description

A leading international animal welfare and sustainability charity is looking for a Campaign Manager based in the UK, Brazil or Canada to lead on its campaign to improve the treatment of marine animals in the global travel industry.

Working as part of the Global Campaigns Team, you will have lead responsibility for this international campaign: this campaign will be your sole focus, and you will be managing all project activity and will be the central point of contact for the campaign. As this campaign is international with one focus area, your job will involve working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including corporate partners and the wider public.

As such, this charity is looking for an experienced and highly-motivated campaigner, with a proven track record of designing, implementing and managing projects to deliver specific outcomes on the international stage. As well as substantial experience of public engagement and mobilisation, you will also have a solid understanding of media, be a skilled negotiator and have excellent communication skills.

This is the ideal opportunity for a cause-driven campaigner to make a tangible benefit to the lives and conditions of marine animals around the world.

Please note that this job can be based in the UK (circa. 36,000 p.a.), Canada (circa $70,000 CAD p.a.) or Brazil ($90,000 BRL p.a.). The deadline for applications is Monday 28th January, so if you are interested in this position, please send your most recent CV to harry.marven@harrishill.co.uk by Friday 25th January; the application process will also include a cover letter. Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
