Campaign Manager

Job description

I'm working with a leading international animal welfare charity to find their next Campaign Manager, who will have lead responsibility for their campaign to make the chicken farming industry more sustainable and ethical.

Working as a key part of both high-functioning national and global campaigns teams, you will be responsible for driving forward the charity's campaign to make chicken farming more sustainable and ethical. This campaign will be varied in its focus, from shaping legislation, lobbying key political figures, public mobilisation and broader cultural change.

As such, this position requires an exceptional campaigner, with experience and understanding across the key areas of political and public engagement, along with an understanding of how corporate partners work.

This opportunity will ideally be based in New York (in the charity's head office), however, Washington D.C., Philadelphia or another relevant location within touching distance of New York will be considered. Salary has been set at circa $70,000 p.a. plus benefits; $90,000 p.a. will be considered for someone based in New York.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced campaigner, ideally within the sustainability, environmental or animal welfare sector, to lead the narrative around chicken farming in the United States, using this example as a model to shape global attitudes and culture.

Please note that the charity does not offer a relocation package and only those with right to live and work in the United States will be considered. As such, only suitable applicants will be contacted. If you are interested in this position, please send your CV for initial consideration to harry.marven@harrishill.co.uk .
