Challenge Events Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an international charity in their search for a Challenge Events Officer in order to lead the development and delivery of UK and global challenges and fundraising events and managing core events.

You will manage the development and delivery of the charity's fundraising Challenge Events,
You will manage all aspects of events and challenges, including research, business plans, timelines, budgets and communications plans.
You will develop and maintain relationships with supporters and third parties
You will Identify, plan and deliver new events and make recommendations for new opportunities
You will produce and implement innovative marketing and promotional plans
You will work closely with the Communications Team to maximise PR opportunities

You will ideally have:
Experience working in a fundraising and / or event management role.
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels and confidently represent the Society whether in person, on the phone, by video link or in written format.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage a complex and demanding variety of tasks and to meet strict deadlines under occasional time pressure.
An entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work under own initiative and with others as a team.
Good IT skills including all key Microsoft Office suite applications and Teams, with added experience of Raiser's Edge NXT or other CRM database systems.

Location: Fully home based, or hybrid work available
Salary: £28,000
