Charity Director

Job description

Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust is a Supported Housing Project for single homeless young women aged 16 to 21. It was founded by Sybil Phoenix OBE MBE, MS in 1979.

We manage two sites, both based in the London Borough of Lewisham. The first hostel is owned by us and is based in Brockley. It has 21 bed spaces. The second hostel has six bed spaces and is in New Cross. It is owned by London and Quadrant Housing Trust.

This means each resident has an allocated worker who will work with them to deal with any of the problems they may have encountered and to help them to build the skills and confidence needed to move on to live more independently. This ranges from counselling to education support, from help with accessing benefits to advice over personal issues and relationships.
