Harris Hill is delighted to be assisting the fantastic UK-based disability charity, Regain, in the search for a new Charity Director at their London Office.

Regain is a National charity that works across the country, providing support to tetraplegics after sporting accidents. The organisation fights to ensure that tetraplegics do not become trapped in their own homes, ensuring they have the ability to be mobile via wheelchairs and adapted vehicles.

Moreover, the organisation seeks equality and equal opportunities for tetraplegics by forming lasting relationships and providing support for sports tetraplegics and their families. In the wider community, the charity hope to increase awareness of the risks, educate and reduce the number of accidents resulting in tetraplegia.

Regain are looking for an experienced Charity Director to join their team on a full-time basis. Along with day to day running of the charity you will be required to secure the financial funding required to maintain and develop the work of Regain through a variety of income streams, Trust, corporate, major donors and events. In conjunction with this, the role requires you to develop effective marketing and public relations strategies to promote Regain's work and to communicate with beneficiaries and the charity supporters including the production of publicity materials, the use of the media and social media and the development and maintenance of a website.

To be considered for this role you will need to be well versed in building and managing relationships with current and future donors. Significant experience in major gifts fundraising is essential. Proven ability to assess and manage risk in project/financial and practical terms and reputational risk. In addition, you will have, excellent written communication skills and have the ability to promote Regain as an organisation through public speaking and networking.
Starting salary of 50,000
