Job description

Voluntary Norfolk is recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the charity.

Voluntary Norfolk improves the health, wellbeing, connections, skills and employability of thousands of people in Norfolk each year, by supporting volunteers, voluntary organisations and through the delivery of commissioned services.   

We encourage and enable people to use their time, skills and talents to volunteer and to find meaningful and enjoyable volunteering roles, for their own benefit and for the benefit of their local community.

We also provide support, training, information and networking opportunities for hundreds of community groups, charities and social enterprises and have a specialist support service, Momentum, for groups working with children and young people.

You will ideally have senior organisational leadership experience gained in complex operating environments and a track record of delivering a range of complex services, including supporting vulnerable people with multiple needs.

 

Job title: Chief Executive Officer

Salary: circa £75,000 p.a.

Location: Voluntary Norfolk, St Clements House, 2-16 Colegate, Norwich, NR3 1BQ (Some flexible/hybrid working options are available)

Contract: Full time / permanent

Benefits: 25 holiday days p.a., increasing with length of service up to 28 days p.a., plus Bank Holidays and 3 days for Christmas closure. 5% employer pension contribution. Sick pay.
