We are thrilled to be partnering with the British Tinnitus Association (BTA) in their search for an exceptionally capable Chief Operating Officer.
The British Tinnitus Association is an independent charity that supports thousands of people who experience tinnitus and advise medical professionals across the world. The BTA is the primary source of support and information for people with tinnitus in the UK, facilitating an improved quality of life. Their aim is to encourage prevention through an educational programme and to seek effective treatment for tinnitus through a medical research programme.

They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join at an exciting and crucial time in the charity's growth and trajectory. The right candidate will be a tactical and strategic thinker, whilst having a tight grasp on the intricate day-to-day operations of the organisation. This is a rare opportunity to join the charity and make a lasting difference.

Chief Operating Officer - British Tinnitus Association (BTA)
Salary: 50,000
Location: based in the BTA's Sheffield office, with some home working
Contract: Permanent

The role of Chief Operating Officer will drive the effectiveness of the BTA, in particular through service provision and communications. You will play a significant role working with the Chief Executive on the strategic direction of the BTA, overseeing critical areas of the charity and allowing the charity the opportunity to grow and develop to deliver their vision of 'a world where no one suffers from tinnitus'.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable senior leadership experience and be a strategic thinker, able to demonstrate collegiate working at an executive level. You will have relevant, recent and substantial experience of working at a senior level in operations and business support (including finance, HR and governance), preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
