Christmas Appeal assistant

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Christmas Appeal Assistant for a health related charity in order to support the team with Communications, Admin and fundraising task. This role will be temporary for approximately 2-3 months.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Communications
Support Communications team with administrative tasks, for example arranging travel and accommodation bookings.
Monitoring and providing support on charity social media accounts.
Research tasks.
Collating coverage.
Managing database.

Office Administration
To provide empathetic support, information and signposting to prospective service users and donors by phone and email.
To keep accurate records of all contact on our database.
To update the website as requested by staff.
To monitor the charity info email account, forwarding and filing emails.
Finance/ Fundraising 
 To process telephone donations and orders.
To support the recording of all incoming donations and payments relating to the Appeal in an efficient and timely manner.
