Internal Communications and Engagement Manager

Job description

I am currently looking for an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager for an amazing and well-established children's charity. This 4 month FTC role will be to lead on key internal communications and engagement projects including change communications ensuring staff feel informed, valued and engaged.
Main duties:
To deliver clear, engaging and high-quality communications to meet the needs of the charity's diverse internal audience during a time of considerable change.
Manage multiple internal communications channels - including the intranet, regular e-newsletters and weekly blogs and emails and source, and source, write and edit content.
To lead on key change projects, advising senior leaders, producing and delivering communications plans and evaluating impact.
To design and lead key setpiece engagement events and campaigns, project managing from start to finish, planning strategic content and advising senior leaders.
To be responsible for all intranet content, monitoring and evaluating to drive improvements based on user experience.
To work with regional colleagues to develop and implement effective relationships and communication channels, building engagement and collaboration across these key areas of our work.
To champion internal communications throughout the organisation.
To deputise for the Internal Communications and Engagement Lead in his absence.

Experience:
You will have experience of success in maximising results in a high-profile communications environment both as part of a team and working with other departments and senior stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate effective inter-personal skills and highly developed written and verbal communications skills.
