Job description

Harris Hill is working with an environmental charity that has seen over a 100% growth in the last couple years. My client is seeking an interim Communications Assistant for 3 to 4 months on a full time basis.

The charity is based in Oxford, but they will consider totally remote, if you would be happy to attend the office to pick up laptop etc at the start and any important meetings but this is very seldom.

In order to be able to hit the ground running, it is essential that you have worked with web platforms, ideally Wordpress, as well as Google Analytics.

Other tasks will include:
Uploading content to the charity websites.

Supporting the dissemination of our programmatic and communications newsletters (previous use of Mailchimp desirable)
Using Google Analytics to help monitor and analyse our web performance
Tracking mentions of the charity and its initiatives and projects in the media
Supporting with the delivery of webinars
General writing and review of communications content
Creative input into brand-related projects
Event management support in the lead up to New York Climate Week, COP27 and COP15

Requirements
1-2 years experience in a Junior Communications or similar role
Demonstrated experience working with web platforms (ideally Wordpress) as well as Google Analytics
Available for an immediate start for a 3-4 month engagement
A background in data and transparency and/or knowledge of the environment and climate landscape would be advantageous but not essential
