Communications Manager

I am excited to announce a new position for a Communications Manager to join a creative and ambitious development team for a global charity.

Based in London, you will work closely with the Director of Development and take responsibility for the Digital Communications Officer. To be brand guardian and work to improve consistency of materials in local, regional and country areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Targeting communications strategy to raise the awareness of the Mission and its work by developing key relationships with relevant news and media outlets.

  • Responsible for coordinating, writing and editing supporter publicity and marketing materials - researching, writing, commissioning and editing content, and supporting the production process from concept to distribution.

  • To manage and develop the Digital Communications Officer who will be responsible for managing the social media channels, updating the website.

  • Actively liaise with other members of the Development team to plan and execute promotions for campaigns and events as required.

The ideal candidate:

  • We are looking for someone who has experience of leading PR/Marketing campaigns.

  • Have experience with maintaining and developing a brand.

  • To be able to work independently whilst being excellent with supporting the requirements of the wider team.

Based in London, Salary £33,000-£36,000 depending on experience.
