Communications Officer

Job description

Harris Hill is working with an environmental charity that has seen over 100% growth in the last two years, supporting their search for an interim Communications Officer.

This role is 3-4 months, full time for this client based in Oxford. The role can however be remote but would ask for the successful candidate to attend the office to pick up laptop etc.

This will be a cross-programmatic role and will work across Trase, Corporate Performance, and Nature-related Finance, as well as on key core communications.

Tasks will include:
Social media development and delivery across all social media channels (this work will be reviewed/approved by another member of the team)
Reactive social media management using Hootsuite
Monthly measurement and analysis of social media performance and trends
Creation of social media toolkits for partners, employees, and other stakeholders
Support with the delivery and promotion of webinars
General writing and review of communications content
Creative input into brand-related projects
Event management support in the lead up to New York Climate Week, COP27 and COP15.

Requirements
A communications professional who has 4-5 years experience working in a busy communications team environment
Specialism in social media, content development and writing highly desirable
Knowledge of the nature and climate landscape is highly desirable.
Available for an immediate start for a 3-4 month engagement
