Community and Events Fundraising Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic homelessness organisation who are seeking an ambitious and driven Community and Events Fundraising Officer to join their successful team on a 12 month contract.

This is an exciting role, offering the opportunity to be involved in a broad portfolio covering community activity, exciting project launches and unique events. You will build and cultivate strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders, engage and steward event participants and work collaboratively with the wider events and community team to ensure a collaborative and creative culture.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • Demonstratable experience in an events or fundraising role
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • An understanding of challenge events
  • The ability to work well within a fast-paced team
  • Previous database experience
