Community Events Fundraising Assistant

Job description

A national Mental Health charity in London, seek an experienced Community and Events Fundraising Assistant ASAP until end March 2020.

You will be responsible for helping the Community & Events Fundraising team provide a fantastic experience for supporters by delivering excellent administration and stewardship on community and events fundraising.

Key Responsibilities
To support the team to maintain high standards of customer/supporter care by ensuring all enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriately, sending out materials and information as requested
Deal with incoming phone calls and simple queries on day-to-day basis and particularly in response to the increased volume of incoming calls following any large-scale events or promotional activity
Ensure all email and telephone communications are dealt with in a supportive and enthusiastic manner, recognising the need to build relationships with supporters, and the direct impact the supporter experience has on income
Manage the administration of the website registration process, contacting potential participants via telephone calls, emails and letter to confirm their involvement and process registration fees where applicable
Make welcome calls to community & events fundraising participants following their sign up to a fundraising activity
Maintain and accurately update the database as required according to data compliance regulations
Ensure charity place participants have registered their details with the organisers by official deadlines
Ensure high standards of stewardship by ensuring accurate and timely thanking for all donations and participations.
Produce and distribute enewsletters for community & events participants
Produce and maintain content for participants on social networking sites
To assist the Community/Events Fundraising Coordinators with the fulfilment of fundraising material requests
To assist Senior Community/Events Fundraising Officers with the fulfilment of goody bags for participants.
