Community Events Fundraising Coordinator

Job description

A national mental health charity in London, seek an experienced Events Fundraising Coordinator ASAP until September.

You will be responsible for helping the Community, Events & Fundraising Development team deliver income targets across a range of events fundraising activities and provide supporters with high quality stewardship to give them an excellent experience of fundraising.

Duties:
Coordinate the day-to-day administration of event fundraising supporters within agreed standards for processing and responding to communication. Ensure the database is correct and up to date, supporter communications are sent on time and charity place participants are registered with official organisers.
To maintain high standards of data capture by ensuring data entered on systems are accurate and timely, in accordance with the team's requirements. Also to use event, marketing source and finance codes accurately to facilitate evaluation of response rates, to develop accurate filing systems, and to maintain clear income and expenditure records.
Prepare and manage the undertaking of accurate mail merges to selected audiences, and to oversee the despatch of mailings and e-newsletters, working with a fulfilment house when necessary.
Act as a proactive point of contact for members of the public who wish to fundraise for the through active challenge fundraising events, and support them in all aspects such as fundraising advice, logistical advice about events, charity law, providing fundraising materials and/or following up sponsorship money.
Develop and maintain relationships with supporters, implementing agreed stewardship plans and recognising the need to build relationships with supporters, and the direct impact the supporter experience has on income.
Stewardship covers registration, welcome calls, fundraising mailings, enewsletters, ongoing contact via telephone and email, good luck cards and thank you letters and certificates.
Responsible for maintaining content for supporters on the social networking pages and enquiries, and building this in to the stewardship programme.
Working with the Senior Events Fundraising Officers to set and achieve define targets in income and expenditure.
Assist the Senior Events Fundraising Officer to monitor and report on agreed KPIs including recruitment rates, income and supporter satisfaction
Work with the Community and Event Fundraising Officers on the recruitment and management of office and community based volunteers.
Develop and maintain relationships internally and across the network, with the key partners and externally with event suppliers
