Job description

A lovely national charity are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join the team in London. Working on a fundraising plan with their volunteers, this is an exciting opportunity!

Duties and responsibilities:

- Create and develop a community fundraising plan with the Head of Fundraising
- Recruit, manage and support volunteer fundraisers in the community
- Work with small businesses to develop corporate relationships, and involve them in some third-party events too
- Work closely with volunteers, fundraising team and wider charity

Skills and experience needed:

- Experience working in a fundraising environment (ideally community/events/corporate)
- Demonstratable experience of working to targets
- Confident building relationships and interacting with stakeholders at various levels
- Someone with initiative, who is keen to bring their own ideas and identify opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and motivate
