Community Fundraiser - Essex

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Fundraiser based in Essex, to manage existing community relationships as well as developing new activities with both current and prospective supporters.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Being the first point of contact in the community, dealing with enquiries and providing excellent customer service
-Managing a portfolio of fundraising activities across community and events fundraising
-Building a strong network of supporters in the community through effective promotion, development of business relationships (including pubs, clubs and organisations) to maximise support
-Event coordination and budget handling - Liaising with local venues and suppliers to obtain best prices for services and products within budget
-Taking the lead on fundraising activities - managing workload, volunteers and delegating tasks as appropriate
-Processing donations and maintaining full and accurate reports of all fundraising activity

In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
-Demonstrable experience within community fundraising
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Excellent project management skills
-Strong organisational, multi-tasking and administrative skills
-Ability to build strong relationships
- Must have a full clean driving license and access to a car
