Job description

Harris Hill is working with a Cancer charity to help find support within their Community Fundraising Team.

Our client is looking for a suitable candidate who can support them for approximately 6 weeks on a full time basis.

Ideally, we would like to see people with community fundraising experience however, the client is flexible on someone having wider fundraising administration or supporter care experience.

Job purpose
To deliver excellent, personalised supporter care with our Community and In Memory supporters to maximise net income and increase engagement.

Key tasks and duties
Monitor and manage the Community and In Memory inboxes, phones and new online fundraising pages, responding to both internal and external enquiries.
Set up new supporters on the fundraising database, following set out processes.
Support and steward supporters over the phone and email to help maximise their fundraising, ensuring all interactions are correctly recorded on the database.
Help to triage supporters into the most appropriate supporter journey; this will also include directing supporters and higher value prospects to the Regional Community Fundraising Managers as appropriate.
Send out fundraising materials and assist the team in supporting our key supporters and their activities as agreed.
Assist with the delivery of our 'Fundraising Pack Request' marketing, automated supporter communications, materials and resources.
Thank all supporters (Community and In Memory) in a timely and personalised way via email, letters and over the phone within timelines set as KPIs and in line with set processes.
Monitor the Facebook Community Group and respond to supporters as required.
Assisting with income processes.
Any other duties that are within the scope and remit of the role and as agreed with your manager.
