Community Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with a national charity to recruit a Community Fundraising Manager in order to manage oversee Community fundraising income generation and work with a range of groups and organisations and individuals across Northwest Surrey.

  • You will manage existing relationships and reactive opportunities whilst also being proactive and targeting specific groups and individuals to develop new relationships.

  • You will ensure events and activities are well supported and resourced both through the team also by developing a strategic plan to mobilise key volunteers to be equipped, confident and able to represent the charity when required.

  • You will manage the team to effectively target key local communities and villages across the Surrey area with the aim of securing adoptions by local groups that already exist within those locations that can run beneficiary events in support of the organisation.

  • You will devise and produce annual budgets and forecasts for Community Fundraising in line with the fundraising dept. budget and strategic plan



Ideally you will have:

  • Excellent community fundraising experience and advanced interpersonal skills.

  • Experience of the successful management of community fundraising income streams and a track record of achieving financial targets (value + £200k).

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills.

  • Be an outstanding project manager, possessing planning, managing and coordinating skills.

  • Be an excellent problem solver.

  • Creative thinker and ability to transform concepts into reality.

  • Have a soundtrack record of planning and managing budgets and managing expenditure.

  • Be an excellent negotiator with proven experience of managing external suppliers.


Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
