Corporate Business Development Officer

Job description

A fantastic health charity are looking for a Corporate Business Development Officer to support across two of their income generation teams, and Harris Hill are delighted to assist them with their search. This role is perfect for a business development professional looking for a varied and exciting role within a wonderful cause-driven organisation.

In this role, you will work across both the Endorsements Team and the Fundraising/Corporate Partnership Team, splitting your hours into 3.5 days and 1.5 days with the teams respectively. Your aim will be to generate income for each team and to work towards an overall organisation target. The role will focus on new business generation, maintaining corporate relationships, increasing sponsorship opportunities and converting leads to sales.

To succeed and excel in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in a corporate fundraising or sales/business development role. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, and be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will be confident, friendly, adaptable, proactive and thrive working as part of a busy team.

The health condition represented by this charity is thought to affect over 40 million people in the UK , but there remains a huge gap in healthcare services for sufferers, so this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about ensuring that the best treatment, support and information is available for those desperately in need.

Salary: £30,000 p.a.

Location:  South East London

Contract type:  permanent, 35 hours a week
