Creative Lead

Job description

Harris Hill is looking for an experience Creative Lead from the 24th January for around 2 months, but could be longer.

This role will support a national children's disability charity, provide interim management and leadership to the Creative team, monitoring team performance and supporting the team to navigate a high work load.
You will give support and technical guidance to creative staff to make sure that creative work is of high quality and scheduled efficiently, meeting the expectations of internal clients.
Working together with colleagues, you will develop and refine their creative ideas in order to produce compelling creative materials which have the greatest impact for the children and their families.

Essential skills and experience
Educated to degree level in graphic design, advertising, marketing or related field or equivalent experience managing creative work in a marketing environment.
Detailed and up to date knowledge of graphic design, print processes, print buying and digital collateral. This includes a detailed understanding of current industry standard software used in the production process.
Strong IT skills including experience of using the Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud software including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere.
Experience of both commissioning and producing video and photo content for multiple channels.
Proven experience of managing design and creative work that meets specific organisational targets, including the editing of a range of high quality documents for a range of audiences, and of commissioning designers and printers to produce a diverse range of high quality publications.
Experience of managing a brand, including house style, visual identity guidelines and guidance on tone of voice.
Experience of line management and training or coaching others.
Excellent creative judgement, ability to create concepts, a strong eye for detail and skilled copywriting across all media and channels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to agreed deadlines.
Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to balance assertiveness with diplomacy and work collaboratively to tackle problems, developing innovative and workable solutions.
