Job description

An international Charity based in London is looking for a Data imports and Integrity Executive. The main purpose of this role is to manage the timely transfer of supporter data onto the supporter database. You will be part of a dedicated team that ensures all the data that drives Fundraising and Advocacy income streams is imported to schedule and with total accuracy; monthly imports are usually worth around 2.5m. You will support the drive to improve data integrity within the database, helping to identify root causes of issues and supporting the development of robust solutions to improve this area. Please note this role is a FTC and A PERM.


Key responsibilities
Meeting set targets to ensure visibility to the teams within Fundraising of the performance/status of imports
Supporting the development of robust processes that drive improvements in data integrity ensuring improved reliability of the data held on database
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, e.g. true and proper capture of Data Protection preferences, correct capture of Gift Aid Declarations
Supporting the development of processes for new products including: sense-checking Import briefs, scoping out requirements and devising processes for the accurate and timely import of data to meet both fundraiser and supporter expectations

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Strong and collaborative team player
Good understanding of and experience in using relational databases
Thorough attention to detail, ensuring complete accuracy, even when under pressure
Experience and skill at managing, developing and communicating data protocols, file transfer arrangements and data integrity
Excellent and proven communicator with the confidence to explain technical issues in a simple and engaging manner to a wide range of audiences, through a variety of means
Strong problem solver, able to deliver innovative and effective solutions
Resourceful at managing own time, especially balancing routine work with more complex projects to ensure everything is completed to schedule with total accuracy
Proactive, resourceful and flexible with the ability to prioritise heavy workloads to meet tight deadlines
Strong numeric and verbal reasoning skills
