I am pleased to be working with an amazing children's charity in search of a Data Processing Officer to work across the organisations Fundraising division, who use and rely upon the supporter databases to develop lasting relationships with their supporters.
This 6-month fixed term contact full time post requires someone to set up, maintain and amend various database processes that manage data across our fundraising systems from a variety of different data sources.
The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience of working with large databases such as Raisers Edge and/or IBM iSeries.

Main Responsibilities:
With the Data Processing Manager,
Deliver specific aspects of the Supporter Team department's annual business plan to enable the NSPCC to deliver its planned activities and services.
Be responsible for the execution & delivery of numerous data processing jobs and the successful reporting of their completion
Be responsible for the delivery of business systems and processes within fundraising in line with agreed key performance indicators and ensuring service level agreements are met where applicable.
Be responsible for the management of relationships and delivery of high-quality support, information and data to those customers for whom you are assigned as lead contact.

And individually,
Correspond effectively with customers using creative and engaging methods of communication, including written, verbal and electronic mechanisms.
Proactively take steps to improve business support and information systems that affect fundraising activities and staff through understanding how information and business processes are used, evaluating their effectiveness and efficiency on an on-going basis and making recommendations for and implementing improvements..
Work independently and diligently, especially in the undertaking of maintenance of training documentation and user guides and, with the support of the wider team to undertake specific projects and activities as necessary.
