Database Marketing Officer

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Database Marketing Officer for an independent school in order play an important role in supporting the department, especially in the areas of fundraising and marketing. This will be a part-time, 3 days a week 2 months contract.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Managing and maintaining the CRM database, Raiser s Edge, and being responsible for the accurate inputting and updating of donor and constituent information.
Running of queries, creating and exporting reports, entry of donations and gifts, and importing data to the database.
Managing the yearly migration of data, across all stakeholder groups, along with regularly updating the database to ensure records are up to date, this includes working with external agencies to clean the database.
Assisting with the processing of Direct Debits, CAF donations and Gift Aid claims on the database.
Developing the database to meet our fundraising objectives, taking an entrepreneurial approach to developing new and innovative approaches when appropriate.
Organising mail merges and the distribution of mailings.
Assisting with prospect research, researching potential new donors and fundraising streams.
Working with the team to update the school website, social media channels and in-house display screens. Sourcing and publishing new content and ensuring information is up-to-date.
Establishing and maintaining a photo library and assisting in the creation and collection of multi-media content for use across a range of communication channels.
Developing and producing online communications for targeted audiences, including weekly e-newsletters and surveys (MailChimp and Survey Monkey).
Assisting with the delivery of the digital marketing strategy, including evaluation using Google and social media analytics, and providing input into reporting.



In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Experience of using a CRM database, ideally Raiser s Edge.
Working knowledge of social media platforms and website content management systems.
Working knowledge of email campaign management systems e.g MailChimp, Survey Monkey, Wufoo.
Excellent IT skills: experience of using of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Financial awareness and the ability to produce financial reports.
High quality written skills.

Able to work as part of a team or independently.
An understanding of GDPR.
