Database Marketing Officer
Job description
An international charity based in London are currently seeking a Database Marketing Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving these objectives by ensuring timely and accurate data is available to individual supporters' teams including Direct Marketing, Events & Community. Tasks will consist of importing and exporting data to and from Raiser's Edge from a variety of sources; supporting the fundraisers in delivering appeals; and working with the Database and Supporter Care team to improve support and understanding of the supporters. Please note this role is a FTC for 11 Months.
Key responsibilities
Regular imports and exports of supporter information including direct debits,
Liaising with agencies to create import routines and reconciliation to ensure the above
Fulfilling data selections briefs for the marketing teams
To maintain effective and secure data transfer protocols
To inform teams of any issues with data flow
Provide Raisers Edge training for marketing teams
Reconciling the direct debits and standing order income
Processing the monthly gift aid claim
Coordinating timely and accurate input of gift information with the Supporter Care officer
Providing information on changes to gift data structure
Managing regular monitoring and corrections to the fundraising database Raisers Edge
Ensuring data consistency
Identifying and implementing database cleaning opportunities
Assisting in reporting and analysis for teams
In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Intermediate knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with relational databases, preferably Raiser's Edge
Experience of complex data selections
Advanced understanding of MS Excel
Good knowledge of all other MS Office software
Working knowledge of BACS and HMRC Gift Aid procedures and guidelines
