Database Officer

Job description

A charity based in Hammersmith are looking for a Database officer. This role will be responsible to ensure the Charity is in line with GDPR at all levels across the organisation working closely with management and project managers. This role will be key in preparing high quality data and evidenced outcomes for reports and in winning new business.
Key responsibilities
To be the lead on administering all three databases (see knowledge), giving access rights to those who need to use specifically for their roles.
To manage the inputting of data and information accurately following key guidelines.
To manage the cleansing of all data across three databases, to ensure no duplication or unnecessary information is kept and meets statutory requirements and GDPR.
To follow up with managers to ensure all data is entered in line with monitoring/submission deadlines and that they should build the capacity of staff to provide accurate, quality-assured data.
To plan, report and formulate relevant information and performance activity data and key performance indicators into the service reports and commissioner contracts.
To develop the databases used so that there is more efficient and effective security and some data is only viewed by specific project teams.
To review how data can be imported and exported for various uses

Person specification
Experience of working with different CRM's
Experience of data transformation and data cleansing
Experience of working with effective departmental systems and being able to translate the data to the staff members and SMT
Good project management skills to complete projects within time.
Substantial experience of data entry and being able to produce quality data reports.
Knowledge of both software administration and application use, using database packages and spreadsheets to manipulate data.
