Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an influential organisation in their search for a Digital and Communications Officer.

You will join this impressive organisation as Digital and Communications Officer and support an exciting portfolio of activity to promote the organisations campaigning work and raise awareness through a variety of channels including website, social media, publications, media and events.

The key to this role is digital, and you will lead on digital channels (social media, website etc) and content including planning, creating and reviewing to ensure it engages audiences and generates impact. You will support with design and production of publications, ensuring consistent brand and messaging. You will support the Senior Communications Manager with media activities and internal communications too.  

In working closely with the policy teams internally you will push out policy and legislation, working throughout the project to devise communications strategies for each campaign. With these campaigns covering issues from food security to mental health and digital to media, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a role with no two days the same!  

This organisation have achieved an international reputation for advising policy makers and stimulating debate in bioethics. They identify key current ethical questions, arrange independent examination, inform and engage policy and media in these debates and make policy recommendations to government and other relevant bodies based on their findings.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

-        Solid Digital Marketing experience

-        Strong ability and interest in social media

-        Ability to disseminate complex information into engaging content

-        A Communications generalist who relishes breadth

Location – London (Hybrid working)

Contract – Permanent  

Salary - £35,000
