Digital Communications Officer

Job description

An excellent opportunity for a Digital Communications Officer has arisen within a fantastic social welfare charity. 

This role is part time, 28 hours a week over 5 days, home based with one day a week in the office.  

Joining an innovative and exciting team, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the charity’s international digital communications development. You will assist the Senior Digital Communications Officer, on day-to-day tasks in digital communications and other media activity as they begin a new phase of their five-year global strategy.

These tasks include:

  • Playing an active part in implementing a digital marketing and communications strategy
  • Promoting and communicating the charity’s work and services to the stakeholder groups
  • Working within the social media strategy to maximise potential reach
  • Managing areas of the website
  • Working on various digital fundraising campaigns

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, maintaining websites/blogs/social media sites and will have the ability to write creative, jargon-free copy.
