Digital Communications Officer

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for a vibrant, education and community focused charity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Officer.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager you will implement the charities' first digital communication strategy with the aim of increasing engagement and voluntary income as well as broadening awareness, reputation and visibility.

Key responsibilities include overseeing website design and maintenance, email marketing, digital advertising, social media, video production (desirable, rather than essential) analytics and the running of a Google Ad grant.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing targeted digital strategies that expand organisational reach, impact and income and will have a track record in managing, growing and nurturing online communities via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and through the use of blogs. Solid experience using Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and/or other digital marketing channels is also a must.
