Digital Communications Officer

Job description

A charity in central London, seek a Digital Comms Officer ASAP for 2 months.

Duties:
Oversee, audit and provide guidance on web analytics and analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM, Hotjar)
Develop effective reporting for online platforms (e.g. creating custom dashboards in GA for specific teams or departments).
Support the Comms and Fundraising teams by sharing appropriate analytics insight to inform and guide their campaign strategies
Manage a splint testing programme using Google Optimize
Manage the day-to-day administration of website content and ensure requests are dealt with in a timely manner
Report and follow up on technical issues and tasks requiring development work from the web provider's support desk
Work with colleagues to implement and optimise new content across other channels where needed (e.g. Medium)
Working closely with the Digital Engagement Manager, support staff to identify digital content needs, and plan and schedule it in the content calendar
Implement and manage a digital content request/creation methodology and process.
Provide a clear view of content requirements for all digital assets
Collaborate in the development of microsites using WordPress

Drupal and WordPress CMS (proficient)
HTML (proficient) and CSS (basic)
Responsive design (proficient)
SEO (basic)
Creative, with solid problem-solving skills and a good eye for detail
Flexible can respond professionally to changing briefs, deadlines and priorities
