Digital Communications Officer

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting a music, social welfare charity, seek a Digital Communication Officer ASAP for 2-4 months on a full time basis.

 

This role is paying 1£14.84ph plus holiday pay on a PAYE basis. If you have a Ltd or Umbrella company, we can pay through that at £18.93ph.

Objectives:
Plans and deploys content across the charity's digital platforms, ensuring content helps deliver key messages and wider strategic aims.
Provides responsive communications to messages across the charity's different communication platforms, working with colleagues to gather information to provide an appropriate response.
Provide insight and analysis to key colleagues regarding engagement across digital channels
Provide support regarding planned digital content to ensure a coordinated approach across the charity.
Work co-operatively within departments across the charity to ensure a high-quality service is provided and that the work that we do is promoted effectively.


Main Responsibilities
Work with colleagues to plan, create and executive engaging content which helps deliver the charity's strategic aims.
Develop copy and narratives to promote effective storytelling, with content, tone and style that is suitable for distinct audiences.
Manage the development of a steady stream of engaging and sharable content on social media (particularly Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram), replying to/moderating comments, sharing/retweeting content from other users, and identifying/engaging target profiles and accounts.
Contribute to the charity wide newsletter content to ensure consistent messaging and brand and generation of specific communications newsletter content.
Provide guidance on our procedures and protocols and manage processes to ensure digital communication development is embedded into the business of the organisation.
Work with the Communications & PR Manager to plan and execute the charity's digital marketing campaigns.
Evaluate the effectiveness of all digital communications activity through regular monitoring, analysis and evaluations to measure brand engagement.
Working with the Engagement team and other team managers, advise on how the charity's digital communications can support their collective business goals.
Working with Comms & PR Manager to deliver quarterly reporting against communications KPIs to the Strategy & Impact Manager.
Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Comms & PR Manager or Head of Engagement.
