Digital Content Editor

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a leading children's charity in their search for a Digital Content Editor.

In this role, you'll manage the creation, commissioning, publishing and distribution of marketing content across the charity's owned media channels, website and podcast. This includes maintaining robust processes for managing how content is stored, maintaining clear and consistent processes for briefing-in campaigns/workflows and monitoring and measuring user interaction, optimising where possible in order to increase audience reach and engagement. You'll be responsible for the creation of compelling stories about the charity's products and services, engaging with the user community - maintaining an authentic and consistent tone of voice across all channels. This role has two direct reports, so the ability to mentor and support the development of others is vital.

In order to be successful, you must have proven management skills in a large, complex not-for-profit or charity sector organisation with demonstrable ability to motivate a team. Excellent editorial and copywriting skills are crucial, this includes professional experience in producing written content for digital media properties with large audiences.
