Digital Executive - Fundraising

Job description

Harris Hill is seeking a Digital Fundraising Exec ASAP until February on an interim basis.

This role is likely to be on a fixed term basis, working 28 hours per week, contracted directly with the client, who is a national charity but working from home.
Duties and key responsibilities
Support and participate in planning processes and procedures across Digital and Fundraising teams.
Provide support for the delivery of the organisations digital fundraising strategies.
Contribute to the maintenance of digital fundraising platforms and support with troubleshooting and technical enquiries when necessary.
Support in the delivery of deployments and projects across digital fundraising platforms.
Responsible for maximising digital income and performance through conversion rate optimisation (CRO) across digital fundraising touchpoints, including our main website, platforms, and digital marketing channels.
Enable Fundraising teams to use our platforms and tools effectively through the delivery of in-house training programmes.
Create and deliver engaging insights and reports that influence change and drive action within digital fundraising activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and the Digital Fundraising roadmaps by identifying development opportunities using insights and meaningful data.
Keep abreast of activities happening across the Fundraising directorate and to participate within key projects as a source of strategic guidance.
Oversee campaign expenditure and budgets as required, ensuring that spend is well-optimised.
Skills ad experience
Knowledge and experience digital, marketing and fundraising (essential). Experience in managing or overseeing a campaign or project budget (essential).
Strong presenting and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders across multiple levels (essential).
Experience of developing strategies using insight and evaluation (essential).
Experience of translating stats and data into real insights that drive positive change (essential).
Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple projects at once (essential).
Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex terminology into clear and concise language (essential).
Experience of working on digital projects and/or campaigns across multiple stakeholders including third parties (essential).
Knowledge and experience of using digital platforms and channels across areas such as: content management systems (Umbraco experience is advantageous), SMS, email marketing, paid search, social media and Google Ads (essential).
Knowledge of best practice across writing for the web and SEO (essential).
Experience in planning journeys across digital channels (essential).
Experience of using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and heating mapping applications (essential).
Experience of user testing and research (desirable).
Experience of running training sessions across platforms (desirable).
