Digital Fundraising Manager

Job description

An animal charity has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Fundraising Manager to support them for 3 - 6 months, on a full time basis.

Purpose
Manage a suite of digital marketing activities and communications to acquire, retain and develop new and existing supporters.
Support the Individual Giving, Legacy and Sponsorship teams with leading edge digital communications and play a collaborative role in facilitating analysis and learning to underpin the continued growth of the programme. This will involve managing some projects and assisting the Head of Digital on more substantial fundraising projects.
As one of our lead Digital Fundraisers, you will combine strong technical and analytical skills with a developed understanding of digital fundraising content.
Responsibilities:
Manage small to medium paid fundraising campaigns across a range of platforms from inception to analysis and learnings.
Work collaboratively with our partner agencies and fundraising colleagues to support multichannel fundraising campaigns.
Manage content requirements with partner agencies and in house creative team.
Work closely with the Digital Managers to plan, schedule and manage day to day social media activity to support Fundraising campaigns.
Develop and implement innovative and cost effective ways of acquiring new supporters via digital platforms.
Advise and upskill colleagues on the use of paid social, display and search activity.

Collaborate with Campaign Managers and the Income & Innovation Department to ensure the digital fundraising activity contributes to a developed understanding of LTV across the charity.
Manage the tracking and measurement of all digital activity to enable full reporting, analysis and multivariate testing.
Benchmark, track and interpret web and digital performance measures and propose improvements, actions and tactics as a result; report on performance and progress.
Experience:
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal presentation
Strong hands on experience of website analytics tool (ideally Google Analytics)
Experience of managing small to medium paid campaigns across multiple platforms with multiple agencies
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with colleagues across all departments
Experience in search engine optimisation and content marketing
Able to plan, prioritise, manage, evaluate and reprioritise multiple competing requests, tasks and projects
A team player, able to work with and support others to agreed standards and deadlines. A positive, solutions focused approach to work
Ability to present oral/written communication professionally and persuasively
Strong hands on experience of website analytics tool (ideally Google Analytics)
