Digital Officer

Job description

Harris Hill is working with a National children's charity, in their search for an interim Digital Officer.

This role is full time and is looking to start immediately.

The main focus for the interim post is to oversee the website and email functions. Wider functions include:

Be the technical lead for I) Webstes and associated products, including Shopify and FormAssembly and their successors: and ii) Org's products in support of marketing, including Mailchimp, Eventbrite and their successors
Provide support for Org's stakeholder database, Salesforce.
Provide technical insight into digital marketing processes.
Essential
Experience of managing website Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly Drupal, and domain management.
Experience using email marketing tools, particularly Mailchimp
Experience of assessing web and social media metrics, including use of Google Analytics.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and support colleagues with varying digital experience and confidence levels.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with data.
Ability to work with care, considering and testing the potential consequences of configuration changes to systems.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly guidance and instruction.
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload with limited supervision, to respond to changing priorities and constraints and work to deadlines.
