Digital Project Manager (part-time)

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Digital project Manager (part-time, 3 days a week) for a national charity in order to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, staff and the charity delivery lead partner to fully scope and implement phase of the redevelopment website.

You will provide end-to-end hands-on project management of the website redevelopment project and you will be authoritative and efficient with the ability to direct and lead others confidently with internal and external stakeholders, where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Work collaboratively with colleagues and our digital partner to accurately scope digital solutions, researching best answers, platforms, tools and technology to meet the organisation s objectives through workshops and user testing.
Develop appropriate documentation to initiate a successful, well-scoped and estimated project with measurable success criteria.
Take responsibility for all aspects of project management and be accountable for project delivery to cost, time and quality parameters.
Ensure all relevant project documentation such as briefs, Statements of Work, technical and functional specifications, GANTTs, risk registers and quality plans are created and used appropriately in all our projects.
Manage the end-to-end project process, building effective relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, translating their requests into tasks for digital team and external developers and designers.
Use your expertise and experience to help the charity develop their project management methodology and expand the team s knowledge of best practice in digital product development.
Where colleagues are new to project management, support and mentor them to be able to play an active role.
Regularly updating key stakeholders on project status
Ensure effective financial and resource management.
Manage any change requests into the project and advise on impact to project timeline, budget and risk.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Knowledge of web design
Experience of discovery, design and build, testing and following a QA process
Experience of CMS training and content migration projects
Experience of using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Basecamp and Wrike
Strong communication skills
Proven experience of effectively managing large-scale projects from brief through to delivery
Adept at building effective client relationships and working with several stakeholders to deliver targets
Experienced in a range of project management software including PRINCE2, Agile and Waterfall
Strong communication with excellent presentation, report writing and data analysis capabilities
Ability to work under pressure, change direction when required and work on a range of client projects at the same time
Background in digital project management working on digital transformation projects from discovery to delivery
Technical competence and understanding of Umbraco
Evidence of working with Waterfall and PRINCE2 project management methodologies
Multi-tasker with ability to juggle many projects
Agency experience with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Passion for IT, e-commerce and digital projects
Creative flair and innovative approach
